Over ten years of nurturing this venture taught me invaluable lessons about customer relationships and the importance of community. Recently, as the Membership & Development Coordinator at The Metropolitan Business League and Bridging Virginia loan fund, I channeled my entrepreneurial spirit into supporting small businesses directly. I specialized in one-on-one client and sponsor interactions and educational programming that not only fostered valuable connections but also empowered local entrepreneurs to thrive and seek access to capital. It's incredibly rewarding to see how these efforts contribute to our vibrant community. In my previous role as a Sales Operations Specialist at Snagajob, I honed my skills in project management by creating job listings for major employers across the U.S, ensuring they reached the right audience effectively. This experience deepened my understanding of market needs and enhanced my ability to communicate clearly with clients. In a recent career pivot, I am leveraging my strong relationship-building skills as a fundraiser at Med Home Plus (MHP), an organization dedicated to advocating for children with disabilities. With personal connections to family members who have faced challenges navigating educational and community resources, I am passionate about contributing to this broader effort. I am excited to help secure the vital funding needed to empower families, expand access to essential services, and create meaningful, lasting impact. I believe that every interaction is an opportunity to learn something new or make someone's day better. Outside of work, I enjoy attending live music productions, theatre, and our fantastic food and restaurant scene here in Richmond. You will also often find me courtside or in the stands cheering my boys on at about a million youth sports events. Life is robust and lively!
