I am a geochemist with 20+ years of experience in field, experimental, and analytical techniques. I have worked on problems ranging from synthesis of nanospherical aluminosilicates, to clay mineralogy and crystal chemistry in weathered basalt saprolites and soils, to metal mobility in highly contaminated soils, to the chemistry of volcanic gases that affected climate change, to metal corrosion in supercritical water oxidation reactors. I am interested in solving basic and applied geochemical and environmental chemical problems, the more complex the better.
