Background

About Leslie de Jesus

I am a strategic technology and leadership advisor with over 25 years of experience building and scaling engineering organizations in complex, regulated environments. I have operated across early-stage innovation and enterprise scale, with a consistent focus on execution under pressure, leadership dynamics, and long-term technical decision-making.I work with founders, executives, and investors where execution risk is high and outcomes matter. I am particularly interested in how noise, cognitive bias, and leadership behavior quietly shape results long before they appear in metrics, narratives, or market momentum.I am an angel investor and a graduate of the VC Lab Venture Institute, with interests in mission-driven, technical companies across AI, digital health, and systems that operate at scale, as well as selective opportunities at the intersection of technology, culture, and community. How I add value: I help identify and mitigate team, execution, and scale risk during diligence, and support portfolio leaders in making clearer, higher-quality decisions under complexity.I write Quiet Thesis to explore these themes at the intersection of leadership, technology, and capital.
