About Leslie Harris

Leslie Harris is currently in the mortgage industry with USAA. She started her career at USAA in 2014, and has held positions in the mortgage department. Leslie has focused on becoming a mortgage professional by holding a loan officer position and now her current position as a processor. Her first year was spent in a sales capacity where she built her foundation in the mortgage industry. She also learned and adapted to the USAA culture. She took an opportunity to further her knowledge in the overall mortgage process, in the processing department where she currently works. Prior to being in the mortgage industry she held various positions in the sales market and medical administration field. Before starting in the sales-field she had an extensive background in hospitality and customer service. She had a background of the medical field and with that knowledge; it allowed her to research federal guidelines, of Medicare and develop appeals and denial arguments. Which transitioned her into medical sales field she maintained a large pipeline and built relationships with customers, medical professions, and to understand the sales environment. As a sales consultant in the car industry she grew as a well-rounded sales professional learning how to build, manage, and maintain a client base.
