I love the printing industry. I've always seen printing as the original world wide web. The information that became available to the multitudes when printing was born was unprecedented. Society and the world is a much better place because of print. The people who work in and with the industry are down to earth, hard working, and generally all around fun people. It is a fast paced industry that seems to get faster each year. That is just part of the challenge. figuring out new ways to get the job done faster. In the years I've been in the industry, many innovations in technology have increased the pace as well as reduced costs. In fact, the camera work that inspired me to go into the business is now obsolete. But hey, we all have to roll with the "technological punches" in this day and age. My knowledge has evolved through the years, day by day with "boots on the ground". Acting as a liaison between the customer and production allowed me to gain experience in all aspects of the printing process. From layout to ink on paper; from offset and digital press work to letterpress work such as die cutting, foil stamping, and embossing; from CMYK 4 color process to Pantone spot colors; and through the various bindery operations including book binding and mailing, my knowledge spans from order entry to final delivery. My goal is to deliver excellent service and guidance so that each print project is a success.
