About Leslie Morris

In late 2023 I transitioned from a 30-year career in corporate communications to helping people share their stories. My work with authors is in person or over Zoom and together we figure out what they want to convey and how best to convey it. It's a high-touch, bespoke service, and every book is different. I also consult to people who want to DIY. My most recently published book is Unraveling Dualities: Finding Peace in Paradox for Dr. Gail Berger Darlow, Clinical Professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. How did I get here? My first years out of college were spent working like a maniac at software companies that, fortunately, went public. After that I hung my own shingle, combining my love of language and project management skills to provide marketing and communications services to technology, consumer products, utility and energy companies. Skills: Listening; Research; Writing and editing, including video; Executive communications; Strategic communications; Change management communications, employee communications; Social media; Sales tool development, collateral development In my free time I travel, play pickleball, downhill ski, bake, read, visit my adult children, and volunteer.
