About Leslie Payne

Working as a Marketer for over 5 years has been rewarding and fulfilling. I am well experienced in problem solving and leadership. I also take great pride in being a first-generation college student. For me, that is a milestone within itself. I also believe that my ability to be a self-starter and a team player can come as a great benefit to any company offering internship or full-time employment opportunities. Within those 5 years I have obtain other skills that can enhance my abilities to work in other fields. Prior from me working as a Marketer, I maintain other skills, and received certifications within my 20 years in the work field. As a Marketer my responsibilities are to be organized and created professional with proven marketing skills and a desire to learn more. Analyze regional markets, including market structures, competition, and constraints, including the effectiveness of current marketing strategies/channel. Planning events between the community and the company to strengthen the relationship. Within my 20 years in the workforce, I've obtained my certification as a doula in 2013 which I've helped over 25 women bring new life into the world. I love being a loyal, compassionate Birthing Doula who provides emotional, physical, and educational support in order to help women have a safe, memorable and empowering birthing experience. In 2017 I decided to expand my health field skills further by enrolling into a field that can being awareness to my community and I received my bachelor's in public health in 2020. In 2021, I will enter a master's program to further my education and knowledge to better serve the community.
