About Leslie Pitts

Leslie had an eye for design and the design business as early as age 8, growing up surrounded by the creative colors and textures of her mother's interior design business, coupled with her father's savvy business influence from his garment manufacturing company. After a European travel experience, Leslie decided college outside California was for her. She chose to study at Vanderbilt University, earning a BS in Human and Organizational Development with a minor in Art History. Leslie began her apparel career as a sales and merchandising assistant back in LA, and after designing women's clothing for ten years, transitioned to children. Expecting her first child, Leslie embarked on a quest to create the perfect fun, yet functional wears for her baby daughter. Out of love for fashion and family-her first company, Lucky Jade was born. Now as a new mother of baby #2, a boy this time, she is even more inspired to create great products for her precious babies. Leslie loves and embraces the challenge of creating things that meet essential needs, as well as add a touch of something special in our everyday lives.
