About Leslie Trail

I have over 20 years of experience in the HVAC and plumbing industry, working in roles that span service, installation, counter sales, estimating, and technical sales support. My career has given me a strong foundation in customer service, technical knowledge, and problem-solving, along with the ability to work seamlessly across teams and with diverse clients. For the past decade, I’ve supported commercial HVAC equipment sales at a manufacturer’s rep firm. In this role, I review construction plans, perform takeoffs, price equipment, and coordinate ordering and parts support. I also manage our in-house IT needs — including Microsoft Exchange, Linux file servers, software systems, and Dropbox accounts — ensuring smooth operations and fast troubleshooting. I’m known for my ability to multitask, visualize projects, and approach challenges creatively. Whether working with contractors at the counter, supporting inside sales, or handling technical systems, I focus on building strong relationships and finding practical solutions. Outside of work, I enjoy music, gardening, food preservation, and technology projects. I’ve been a Linux enthusiast for 15+ years and enjoy customizing systems and helping others transition to open-source platforms.
