I’m Leslin Jones, a Cape Town-born expedition destination manager with a passion for travel, culture, and creating exceptional guest experiences in some of the world’s most remote and breathtaking places. My career has taken me from South Africa to the Arctic and Antarctica, working with incredible teams across renowned expedition lines like Swan Hellenic, Silversea Cruises, and Orion Expeditions. Over the past 15+ years, I’ve built my career in cruising, travel, and tourism specializing in shore excursions, guest operations, event coordination, and expedition logistics. I’ve driven zodiacs through polar ice, curated immersive cultural events in Saudi Arabia, South America, and Greece, and worked closely with tour operators, port agents, and shipboard teams to deliver seamless experiences for guests and crew alike. I thrive in dynamic environments and take pride in bringing people together, whether it’s leading multicultural teams onboard or collaborating with local communities onshore. I believe in intentional communication, thoughtful leadership, and handling complex challenges with calm, creativity, and care. At heart, I’m a South African explorer who loves what I do, helping others discover the beauty of the world.
