My name is Lesly Leiva. I am a mother ofLilly, a spunky little girl.In 2013 she was born via “exit procedure” atThe Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia inorder to save her life. I have faced a hardroad with her, and every day I feel blessed tobe able to watch her grow smarter and wiser.Lilly is my inspiration to continue to be strongand to never give up. As I watch her face herstruggles in life, it reminds me that she needsme more than ever. So I continue to bettermyself in all ways possible and look for waysto help her as much as I can. I currently live in Lakehurst, New Jersey. Iattend Georgian Court University, where I graduated with my Bachelorsof Science in Nursing, May 2018. As for my future goals, I plan to further myeducation to get my Doctor of NursingPractice degree (DNP).
