About Leticia Murillo

I am a Financial Services Professional with experience working at three of the Big Four Accounting Firms, and experience as a Financial Manager for a Mortgage company. I'm highly adept in Risk Consulting and Auditing with an excellent understanding of compliance and accounting principals. I have successfully conducted domestic and International risk assessment projects on behalf of Ernst & Young's USA and Mexico business providing consultation and advice on SOX compliance, financial regulations, risk management, and business process improvements for a large international corporations. I also championed the professional development of four college graduates by coaching and mentoring them helping to facilitate their progression in to a permanent staff positions. In 2008, I took time off my career path to expand my global vision by traveling overseas, visiting more than 20 Countries so far, and raising my family. Additional, I lived three years in Hong Kong as I followed my partner's Professional career. The contribution of this cross-cultural experience to my professional career has been essential because the more I understand people, better I can relate, communicate and do business within a diverse team. Also this experience has helped me to develop strong skills like adaptability in any environment, problem- solving under stress, organization, communication and ability to learn quickly. At this stage of my career I have maintained my strong accounting skills and have been trying to continue and refresh these skills through active courses. I am confident that I can be an asset for any company.
