With over 25 years of industry experience, I am a leader in the field of clinical operations and development. I founded Avila Clinical Consulting to provide expert planning, management, and execution of clinical programs, from Phase I to Phase IV, for pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Currently I function as Vice President of Global Clinical Operations.I also serve as an IRB member at Yale University, I sit on the Advisory Board of Leal Health, an AI-powered decision-making support platform dedicated to expediting patient access to all available advanced cancer treatments and a serve as the President and Chair of the New England Chapter of ACRP, where I promote the professional development and recognition of clinical research professionals in the region.My specialties include oncology, immuno-oncology, neurology, immunology, gastroenterology, neuropathic pain, and rare diseases. I have worked on over 85 Phase I through Phase clinical trials with moderate to high complexity, proactively identifying and resolving clinical project issues, and participating in process improvement initiatives. I have strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable me to successfully manage vendors, rally disparate teams to action, and oversee staff. I am a certified member of the ACRP, RAPS, and PMI. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences and a Master's Degree in Regulatory Affairs and Health Policy.
