About Leticia Vargas

I started writing at a very young age and have not stopped. I thoroughly enjoy the whole document development life cycle: researching, writing, reviewing, peer-testing, and publishing. I also love writing code. I spent five years developing metaheuristic-based algorithms to solve challenging combinatorial problems and published academic papers in world-class refereed journals. Then I went to create technical documentation for worldwide Fortune 500 organizations. During the last five years, I have developed broad experience in writing different types of documentation for different audiences: technical reports, educational materials, instructor-led training materials, technical guides, API documentation, online help, and proposals. Along with this experience, I spent a year at a JavaScript Full-Stack Developer Bootcamp to better comprehend and document software products. I am keen on diving deep into both the tech stack and the solution implementation to produce comprehensive and understandable documents. I am most passionate about developing high-quality documentation that ensures the adoption and permanence of the software developed. I have created documentation for media, entertainment, education, real estate, and trade industries. My interests also encompass cloud computing and the field of Data Science.
