About Letisha L. James

With over a decade of experience in education, I have demonstrated a strong commitment to improving student outcomes through data-driven instructional practices. Throughout my time at the University of Chicago Charter School, Betty Shabazz International Charter Schools, and Chicago Public Schools, I have consistently implemented successful strategies to increase student achievement. As a lead teacher on the instructional leadership team, I have honed my skills in analyzing student data, identifying areas of need, and developing targeted interventions to support struggling students. I have collaborated with colleagues to develop school-wide strategies for improvement, while also monitoring implementation at the grade level to ensure success. One of my proudest achievements was the development and implementation of a successful reading intervention program for middle school students, which resulted in increased standardized test scores and improved reading skills. This experience has allowed me to showcase my ability to tailor interventions to meet the specific needs of individual students and drive positive outcomes. I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of my students and am dedicated to continuous growth and improvement in the field of education. My hands-on experience and proven track record of success make me a valuable asset to any educational institution looking to drive student achievement and foster a culture of learning and growth.
