About Letizia Sorti
I’m currently in the third year of a scholarship-funded Ph.D. in Industrial Chemistry. The scholarship is funded by Bracco S.p.A, and my research focuses on finding industrial electrochemical solutions for the pharmaceutical industry. The emphasis of the project is on developing green synthesis and wastewater treatment methods that are both environmentally and economically beneficial. I’m deepening my knowledge of electrochemistry and corrosion processes, and this project is also providing me with insights into synthetic and analytical chemistry. The Ph.D. is allowing me to develop my critical thinking and both independence and teamwork. I have also had the opportunity to present posters and talks at both national and international conferences and manage the work of many students.
