In my position as a Public Safety & Security Officer at Cox Health I have the privilege of being a part of a fast-paced environment. I am able to utilize my skills in communication, conflict resolution, team management, and resource allocation. Which has allowed me to discover one of my biggest passions, being at the heart of a team and supporting their growth. In my previous job experiences, I've had the opportunity to lead a team of 60 plus individuals that operated an square foot facility. Manage the budget, staffing, and inventory of a successful resort facility. As well as develop and contribute to the culture of multiple diverse teams. In each of these roles, I was constantly reminded of a quote by Simon Sinek, “A true leader is not measured by the work they do, but by the work they inspire others to do" This reminded me that successful teams are created through supportive leadership. Centering my focus on the people I led and encouraging them to show up for themselves every day, is my mission. People are the heart of any company. A company flourishes when their teams are taken care of.
