For the last couple of years, I have been working as a Business intelligence Analyst where some of my main tasks has been to- Create automated & self-service solutions for Commercial Finance, Product management, marketing, support, and Global Groups- Empower the Business to be able to analyze and make fast decisions that improve business performance and profitability- Be a trusted Business adviser and first-line support when the business has any questions or new scopes- Support the IT development team with data structure, SQL code, and Business knowledge- Deliver value-driven tools for performance management - Support business units in forecasting processes with tools and templates - Challenge assumptions and validate numbers and material to achieve the right level of quality- Be responsible for understanding, challenge, and communicating between the business and the technical/ IT development Team- Contribute with Business and system Knowles to support projects by creating PoC with a focus on source & data modeling- Understand the business strategy, goals, and objectives and to assist in the development to achieve these goals - Do Ad-hoc analyses - Advanced data analysis methods and tools (quantitative and qualitative) that deliver targeted commercial and financial insights - Participate or drive finance project e.g. around BI or standardizations - Have an automatization mindset to contribute to an efficient setup for both global and divisional finance teams Tools I have worked with: Microsoft SQL Server management studio Microsoft PowerBI (including Dataflows etc.) Microsoft Excel Microsoft Azure Other.
