About Levi Mollison

Levi Mollison graduated from NYU’s Tandon School of Engineering with a Bachelor of Science in Integrated Digital Media. During his high school years he was introduced to web development. He enjoyed making creations in JavaScript. This experience sparked his interest in technology that caused him to pursue further study at NYU. Levi thrives on the ability to use tech to make the lives of end users more efficient. Levi’s creative ability is demonstrated through his User Experience graduate project, Hellolens. Hellolens, written in C#, enables curators to make decisions regarding upcoming artists that they wish to feature at art galleries. As leader of the development team, Levi used his Unity experience to create the mixed reality application. Applying Microsoft’s HoloLens documentation and tutorials, he combined multiple test driven programs and included artwork for visual appeal, leading to a fully functional prototype. Toni Dove, artist and creator of The Dress that Eats Souls, tested the prototype and shared that she loved being able to manipulate artworks with her hand and could see herself using the application in the future. Through hands on experience, Levi continues to widen his scope of coding knowledge and looks forward to embracing new challenges. Levi sees himself working with a team of developers, coordinating to solve problems that come their way.
