About Levi Salem

My name is Levi Salem and I am a senior at Yes Prep Gulfton. Yes Prep Gulfton is a small preparatory school that has 1 main goal for each of their students-go to a 4 year college or university and graduate from these 4 year colleges or universities. I actively continue to navigate at different opportunities in my small school so that I can have an idea as to what I am passionate about. For instance, I am part of the Black Student Union at my school in which I am the social media platform coordinator. I also volunteered at an abundance of blood drives that was lucky enough to get hosted by my school by the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. I also take part in my school's basketball team where I learned the true value of teamwork and trust, which play into a big part of who I am to this day. Last but not least, I am a proud Atlas Scholar - a development program that gives students the opportunity to gain experience in professional settings. Some accomplishments that I have had in my personal journey is that I was able to drastically improve my physical health. I take heavy pride in my physical health but I know there is always room to improve.
