About Levi Strauss

Specializing in the fields of finance, insurance and health care, Mr. Strauss provides information architecture, design and integration services to enterprises for transactional and analytic systems. Utilizing his expertise in Model Driven Architecture, he develops computing systems from the top down, from the business capabilities and processes, through the conceptual, logical and physical models, through to production delivery, by designing, specifying, coding and supervising the implementation of each phase in their life cycle. Accomplishments He leads and has led enterprise information architecture and development teams in the design, coding, testing and delivery of: Real-Time, complex event processing systems; High-volume, highly-optimized and highly available transaction processing (HVTP) systems; Very large, enterprise dimensional data warehouses, data marts, data lakes; Big Data, NoSQL repositories; Master data management systems to master a variety of entities such as persons, organizations and others; Metadata and technological data management systems to integrate governance, glossaries, lineage and other technical metadata; Administration of large database systems, including users, core code, security, recovery, replication and more. Mr. Strauss studied computer-generated imaging at the University of Illinois before receiving a BA in Computer Science and a post-graduate certificate in Business Computing from Depaul University.
