About Levi Whittaker

I opened the doors to my agency at 18, and now two years later the agency is thriving. In 2016 I won the Rookie of the year award, and now in 2017 I'm finishing in the top 4% for commercial insurance in the district full of agents with 40+ more years of experience than I. I've been able to achieve this success by recognizing my biggest weakness and leveraging it to become a top strength. Without question this quality is my lack of industry experience. To combat this I take a posture of humility and am very teachable. I listen more than I speak, and I continually do research in an area I didn't understand until I become a wealth of knowledge in the given area, to the point that agents of other companies have asked me for advice in knowledge. But in all of this my underlying goal is to simply build quality and lasting relationships and add practical value to someone's life. I work in sales, but I don't consider myself a salesman. If someone calls me for a quote and 10 minutes later I've issued a policy for them and bid them farewell without ever sitting down with them or have done nothing to build a relationship with that person, I consider that sale a failure.
