About Levi Winfrey

I’ve been a part of great work cultures and poor work cultures. I am passionate about providing leadership that promotes a great culture and an amazing place for my team members to work. I thrive on developing people into leaders and leaders into great leaders! A few of my greatest accomplishments regarding leadership are the people I have grown into leadership roles. Through my guidance, I was able to turn an employee from a last chance to operations supervisor in a year! Another employee didn’t want to be a leader, but I saw potential. I coached and mentored this leader to a management position at another facility! As a leader I enjoy problem solving and finding long term solutions that provide value. While I was at Georgia-Pacific, I built a Superintendent position from the ground up. In doing so I established the KPIs and metrics of that department and drove our KPIs to exceeding expectations. Simultaneously I took on the role of Indirect Cost Manager. I played a key role in reducing our monthly spend by $300K+ a month. Safety is my highest priority. Everywhere I go, I find ways to work in a safer manner. Here are some examples: • Reengineered catwalk system to allow employees to continue their work as they knew it, while eliminating a significant fall hazard • New process and procedure for my department’s outfeed to eliminate forklift and pedestrian interaction • Eliminated an ergonomic issue by re-purposing jib cranes from machine center that was no longer in use. • Installed a lighting system on all overhead cranes to alert employees working underneath During my off time I’m spending time with my family, travelling to explore new cultures, or exploring the great outdoors. I thoroughly enjoy self-development. I always have an audiobook and regular book on que. I typically read about work culture and leadership. My absolute passions! I want to expand my network and collaborate with like-minded people as well as those with differing views and opinions. I want to learn through other’s perspectives!
