About Lewanda Morse

As the Director of Education and Training at the Institute of Child Nutrition (ICN), I oversee the design, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality and evidence-based professional development programs for the child nutrition workforce across the nation. With over 25 years of experience in education and training, I am passionate about empowering and equipping child nutrition professionals with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to provide healthy and nutritious meals to children. My core competencies include curriculum design and development, instructional design, grant writing and management, public speaking, and educational technology. I hold Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction, a Specialist in Education degree in Educational Leadership, a PhD in Educational Leadership, and was previously held a National Board Certification in Teaching (NBCT). I am also skilled in staff development, tutoring, curriculum and assessment development, and K-12 instruction and leadership. I am committed to advancing the field of child nutrition and fostering a culture of learning and excellence within ICN and beyond.
