About Lewie Duncan

Full-stack.NET developer with a First Class degree and commercial experience delivering production software since university.I'm currently at Gateway Services building and maintaining educational platforms used across 29 Scottish local authorities, working across the full stack with C#, ASP.NET Core, Razor Pages, and SQL Server. Before that, I contracted remotely for a US software company while studying full-time, delivering cross-platform solutions for law enforcement and a major US healthcare provider across 51 hospitals which taught me early on how to work independently, take ownership, and ship under real pressure.Outside of work I'm putting the finishing touches on Refine a solo full-stack fitness and nutrition app built entirely from scratch. Offline-first.NET MAUI mobile app, custom ASP.NET Core backend, Claude Vision API integration for nutrition label scanning, JWT auth, and Azure hosting. Currently in TestFlight beta and heading to the App Store soon. It started as a way to keep learning but has turned into something I'm genuinely proud of.I'm driven by progression I want to keep growing as a developer, take on more complexity, and work on things that matter.Always open to connecting with fellow developers or hearing about new opportunities.(C#.NET, ASP.NET Core, MAUI, Azure, SQL Server, CQRS, Clean Architecture, REST API, Entity Framework, JWT, MediatR, SQLite, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, GitHub.)
