I am a Chartered Health & Safety Professional (CMIOSH) with over ten years’ experience leading and delivering effective health, safety and compliance management within construction and high‑risk operational environments.In my current role as Head of Health, Safety & Compliance, I provide strategic leadership and assurance across the organisation, designing, implementing and embedding proportionate governance frameworks that support legal compliance, risk reduction and continuous improvement. I am experienced in aligning health and safety strategy with wider business objectives, protecting people, assets and reputation while enabling operational delivery.I bring strong expertise in policy development, organisational risk management, incident investigation, performance monitoring and board-level reporting, with a proven ability to influence and collaborate at all levels, from senior leadership and directors to site-based teams. My approach is pragmatic, commercially aware and focused on developing positive safety culture through visible leadership, clear accountability and competence-led assurance.My background includes extensive hands-on and strategic involvement in construction safety management, temporary works, lifting operations, project and contract oversight, and Business Management System compliance, including ISO internal auditing. I also support workforce wellbeing as a Mental Health First Aider and DSE Risk Assessor, and lead on identifying and delivering targeted, TNA‑based training.I hold the NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Management, alongside the NEBOSH General and Construction Certificates, and I have full experience managing both licensed and non‑licensed asbestos works from planning through to completion.I am committed to driving high standards of health, safety and compliance that add measurable value to organisations and underpin sustainable performance.
