But, they are torn between the need for daily fire-fighting within present constraints with the need to fight for their future hopes and ambitions. Every product, service or policy may have started off with a good intention but can be ham-stringed by lack of commitment within the organisation and half-hearted partners. I believe organisations want to be energized by new ideas. I believe that the best organisations understand that collaboration is the answer, rather than competition. I enjoy working with large organisations dealing with complex issues of the day. I facilitate uncomfortable conversation, with the hope of finding a common vision over the competing interests. I support other organisations in navigating complex issues with their internal, and external stakeholders from citizens, consumers, NGOs, businesses, and other public agencies. I care about my work as a facilitator because I deeply believe we can all achieve more if worked together. I bring various stakeholders into the room to work for common goals. Together, we talk about the “Why”, before we get into the “How”. We work together as a team to produce more robust, and effective outcomes. I’m also a lifelong improviser and aspiring standup comedian.
