I'm Lex, a values-lead, data-driven and authentic People & Culture leader with 18 years HR experience, driving strategic culture transformation and delivering impactful people solutions that enhance organisational performance. As a People & Culture professional with expertise in diversity, equity and inclusion, organisational development, employee engagement and industrial relations, I partner with executives to build psychologically safe, high-performance environments where people thrive. I combine strategic HR leadership with practical execution to deliver measurable results, and use defined metrics and data analytics to inform decisions and optimise outcomes. My experience spans major events, medical research, education and the arts, where I've developed a reputation for building trusted relationships with Boards, Executive Teams and key stakeholders to influence positive change at all organisational levels. As Head of People, Culture & Capability at Australian Grand Prix Corporation, I've successfully led strategic initiatives across key HR domains: • Culture transformation and measurement (using OCI/LSI frameworks) • Strategic HR leadership and executive coaching • Diversity, equity and inclusion program design and development • Enterprise agreement negotiation and IR • Change management with a focus on employee engagement • HR data analytics and HRIS implementation • Strategic workforce planning aligned with organisational objectives I negotiated our first Enterprise Agreement in 20 years with 100%"Yes" votes from 91.49% of eligible staff, championed several strategic diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, implemented an HRIS system that transformed our HR operations, and drove significant improvements in employee engagement metrics. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Business (HR Management) from Swinburne University and am a Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner and an accredited LSI & GSI Coach through Human Synergistics, focusing on leadership development and culture measurement. I contribute to my community through volunteer work with Bendigo Foodshare.
