About Lex Pierik

With more than ten years’ experience in business intelligence and data warehousing I help my customers in roles like advisor, information management, scrum master, quality assurance, information analysis and general BI enabler. The combination of my broad background in business informatics and years of technical experience as a BI developer I’m capable in approaching BI challenges both conceptually as from a technical point of view and deliver outside of the box and instantly value adding solutions. Whereby I will keep in mind the set goals and also the human aspects. I give the training BI Fundamentals, Star Schema modeling and Information Analyses. In addition I also developed and teach the Cognos introduction training and Visualization crash course. As a person I am flexible and easy to work with, however I’m straight forwarded and honest. I prefer an environment where people work with ambition and pleasure….work hard, play hard. I am a go-getter and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I like to share my knowledge and experience; I organize workshops; presentations and am coaching various colleagues in the field of personal skills, visualization and agile awareness. I am a certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM), ITIL foundation certified, Prince II certified and certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP, elective Data Analysis and Design).
