2022-2023 Land Development Coordinator and Research Analyst for AutoReview.ai. Working with Dr. Nawari Nawari to push Design, Construction, and Planning expediting of land development processes. Using AI technology to automate GIS programmability from land acquisition to the construction of the site with computer science analytics and cloud-based technology. 2021 Landscape Horticulturist and Entomologist at Disney working at EPCOT's Living with The Land greenhouses. Here I worked with fellow scientists to research new innovative growing techniques and cross-breeding high-yield crops to help feed a growing planet. I also collaborated with my peers to discuss pest problems in the greenhouses and determine the best integrated pest management programs to implement. 2021 Undergrad Research Project Assistant working at the University of Florida's Pollinator Conservation and Ecology Lab. Here I carefully selected and vetted research sites through the utilization of social media and community science platforms, allowing us to locate extensive populations of native plants. I then established a coordination system for weekly site visits involving 20 property managers across North-Central Florida. During these visits, I identified more than 300 plant species, including ornamentals, in a field setting, and engaged in the identification and collection of various pollinator species as part of our research endeavors. 2020 Independent Researcher working at the University of Florida's Pollinator Conservation and Ecology Lab. Here I assessed the foraging preferences of a native Florida pollinator by analyzing pollen collected from pollinator bodies, identifying distinct pollen types, and determining their plant sources through light microscopy techniques, with the ultimate goal of preparing a research manuscript for peer-reviewed journal publication. 2020 Research Intern at the University of Florida's Honeybee Research and Extension Lab. Here I researched honeybee anatomy to develop a synthetic diet for Varroa destructor that doesn't rely on a live host. Honeybees were dissected to extract organs for microscope observation. I also assisted the team with honeybee hive inspections, conducted hive health maintenance tasks, and collected live bees as part of research activities. 2016 Research Intern at the University of Florida's Gulf Coast Research and Education Center. Here I was involved in projects concerning the detection and identification of common pests found in strawberry crops within the field.
