As an interior designer with an associate's degree from Gateway Technical College, I am passionate about transforming spaces into personalized, functional environments that reflect the unique needs and styles of my clients. Currently, as an interior design assistant at Studio M Interiors, I’m able to apply my skills in space planning, color theory, material/textile/furnishing selection, sustainable design, and drafting while bringing fresh, creative ideas to life. In addition to my design education, my experience as an Army veteran specializing in communications has helped me develop strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills, which are essential in my interior design work. I’ve also honed my organizational and teamwork abilities through roles that involved customer service and collaboration, allowing me to effectively work with both clients and colleagues. Art has always been a driving force in my life, fueling my creativity and inspiring my design work. My love for interior design motivates me to constantly explore new trends and ideas, while my commitment to excellence drives me to create spaces that are both beautiful and functional. I also have a deep interest in architecture and a strong desire to continue expanding my knowledge in that field. I believe that a solid understanding of architecture will only enhance my design skills and enable me to create even more dynamic and cohesive spaces. Each project is an opportunity to continue growing, and I am excited to push the boundaries of my craft, blending interior design with architectural elements, in every design I create.
