About Leyla Palacios

LMP here, Case Manager at Azure Acres, where I honor recovery needs and do my best to support residents as they undergo healing and embark recovery journeys. My hope is to help clients fortify recovery shields against the forces of evil in after care planning. I'm a bilingual [Spanish/English] Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee with a specialization in Transpersonal Psychology Counseling, and I offer the opportunity to connect with intuition in sessions through the use of supplemental tools such as affirmation/oracle/soul cards. May the force be with you and I look forward to LMP transferred over to Azure Acres from Bayside Marin in September of 2022 and is currently a Counselor / Case Manager at the Avalon PHP program. LMP received her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2012. After graduation, LMP gained experience in the behavioral health field by volunteering at Hospice El Paso. LMP relocated to the bay area in 2016 and spent the next 5 years working for Hospice of the East Bay, where she was able to follow her passion pursuits in alternative healing modalities. LMP has also volunteered with the Zendo Project, offering harm reduction education to help transform challenging experiences into opportunities for learning and growth. LMP is currently completing her practicum hours for her Master’s at John F. Kennedy University and recently completed The Core Skills Trauma Certificate Program from Somatopia. LMP is empathic, intuitive, compassionate, and has an affinity for Expressive Arts-based approaches.
