About Li Bai

Currently, I work at Nabla Mobility as a data scientist, developing AI-driven solutions to enhance airline disruption management and promote sustainable practices within the aviation industry. I worked as data scientist at ConWX for 2.5 years, focusing on renewable energy forecasting and icing forecasting and developing tools around data cleaning and modelling using Python. I used to work as a postdoc researcher on analytical modelling for energy generation and market with more than 1 year academic research experience. I specifically worked on the heat probabilistic forecasting using online learning methods onto the streaming data to understand the consumers' behavior, and design a new heat pricing scheme to unleash the flexibility from heat demand side. During my PhD study on the topic of energy management of a network of multiple microgrids, I developed an energy trading models and renewable energy generation forecasting models around microgrids. Through my involvement in the projects, I developed solid experience around Python and an agile mindset to implement optimization solutions, deploy forecasting models and make data analysis.
