About Li Bailiang
After an 8-year training at medical school, I spent 5 years conducting postdoctoral research at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Stanford School of Medicine. I am mainly focused on developing genomic biomarkers for cancer prognostification and/or treatment response prediction with statistical and machine learning methodologies. My other research topics include cancer molecular subtyping and radio-genomic analyses. I have developed multiple clinically-relevant biomarkers for various types of cancers, such as an individualized immune gene expression signature tailored for early-stage NSCLC, which was published in JAMA Oncology and an ESI highly cited paper (top 1%) in the category of clinical medicine. Now I am a Sr. Bioinformatics Scientist at Personalis, Inc. analysing multi-omics and liquid biopsy data to better predict clinical outcomes and therapeutic responses.
