About Li-Jen Yang

Hello, I am Li-Jen (Lance), a graduate student at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. My major is Electric engineering, and I join the Machine learning laboratory of Prof. Jen-Tzung Chien. Currently, I am dedicated to my research, speech synthesis, and a ongoing project with ITRI about low resource speaker speech synthesis. In the past few years, there were several experiences I can share with you. I attended the 2022 summer internship at Mediatek. Within two months, I developed the plugin of internal software to enhance the debugging flow on specific project. I applied the collaborative AI program between Taipei Tech and University of Cincinnati and passed the course. Also, I was chosen to attend the following research project with advisor, Prof. Mehdi Norouzi. During the whole senior year, we do the research on Video Summarization based on 3D CNN and CNN features. The topic of my senior project is “Automatic steering camera based on UWB indoor localization”. We designed a system of indoor localization and used the positions calculated by our algorithm to manipulate camera automatically tracing the target user.
