About Li Zhou

As a self-motivated designer, my goal is to craft inclusive and user-friendly experiences that cater to individuals of all backgrounds, ensuring accessibility, convenience, and empowering every user to embrace a sense of belonging in the digital realm. Being a gender minority from Asia has provided me with a unique perspective that allows me to approach design with sensitivity and empathy. I genuinely care for both my community and every individual I interact with. This perspective greatly benefits me as a product designer because it allows me to relate to others and recognize the significance of each individual's struggles. Additionally, my background in the design field for over 7 years cultivates my collaboration ability and presentation skills of my designs. My product design experience in AI, fintech, and e-commerce projects has honed my skills in data visualization, market and user research, customer empathy, and proficiency in design tools, making me a valuable advocate for users. I believe my experience collaborating with startups and NGO institutions has honed my design skills and fostered a deep understanding of design collaboration.
