About Lia Farris

I'm currently working as Opex Controller for Haier Europe and I have four years of experience in this field. I've earned a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Business, obtained with a grade of 110 at University of Sassari in 2017. I chose to write my Bachelor's thesis on "Black firms", because I'm extremely charmed by finance world. During these years of studying I've done several jobs not related to finance world (the most relevant, just for the time dedicated, was the one as promoter in Euroclub) just to make me more independent from my parents and to enhance my soft skills, for example working as a promoter helped me at overcoming my shyness. After the degree I took the decision to have an experience abroad to prove myself and to improve my language abilities. For this reason I spent four months in Stirling, a small and nice town near to Edinburgh, working in a shop as shop assistant manager. After years I can say that the experience abroad, even if short, has been one of the most influential, because I was alone and I had to put myself out there. I've started the experience in my current workplace as a stageur, then I've been confirmed as an employee. In these four years I've learned a job thanks to my determination, my curiosity and my desire to learn new things, but also to the people that taught me how perform this job in the best way. I know that I have a lot of things to learn but for sure this doesn't scare me!
