About Liam Atkinson

I am a recent computer science graduate, currently housed mainly in Crawley but willing to travel. I have recently graduated from the University of Sussex and am an aspiring computer programmer who is targeting a job in the industry. I have project management skills and skills in other areas such as people skills and team-working abilities. I am fluent in many programming languages such as: Java, Python, HTML, CSS, AJAX, PHP, C, C++, C#, SQL and JavaScript. I can make use of databases such as MySQL databases. I have made many projects such as multiplayer projects where I created my own netcode with database connections that used multiple languages (C# Unity, Java, Programmatic SQL), websites for professional businesses (JS, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap) and websites made to showcase computer security features (PHP, AJAX). I have also been working on computer vision and text-pattern replication applications in python. The vision project consists of seeing an image, extracting features and generating captions, the aim for the project is to look at frames for a camera to produce captions and read out-loud captions for those frames. Furthermore, I have professional skills using systems such as google and office tools like teams, word, excel, power-point, LaTex and their equivalents. I have written many technical documents and reports for projects in the past and am very confident of being able to write documentation like this.
