About Liam Auhl

I am a passionate, self driven undergraduate completing a degree in Civil Engineering at La Trobe Melbourne. My interest stems from the fact that every day is new and exciting, that I learn something new whenever I tackle a problem given to me. I have attended forums and Q&A's on Engineering, Business, and Innovation in order to gain knowledge that you can't learn in a classroom. It has also given me the opportunity to network with professionals in different fields. Already in my degree I have been exposed to a variety of different aspects of engineering, including civil, hydro, and geotechnical design. I thoroughly enjoy working in a diverse team environment, giving me the chance to meet new people and possibly open doors to new opportunities. I enjoy leading collaborative projects, being able to innovate out of the box ideas that can benefit both the client and the community. Having skills in technical programs, analytical thinking, problem solving, and project planning I intend to work in the industry as soon as possible in order to further develop these skills so that when I graduate I am able to contribute my abilities to the fullest and make an impression in the engineering world.
