About Liam Brady

I enjoy working with diverse teams to solve complex and important problems. For over a decade and counting that problem’s been how to make energy more sustainable, affordable, and reliable for Australian homes and businesses. After spending many years in the solar and storage industry, my focus since 2019 has been on accelerating the path toward zero emissions transport via developing products and services that help more Australians get behind the wheel of an electric vehicle. I have launched energy plans for EV households, delivered Australia’s largest Smart Charging Trial (VPP), rolled out residential EV chargers, and contributed toward building a DC public charging network. I am passionate about leading and helping people to succeed. I value seeking out those I disagree with to understand their reasoning, and fostering a culture where people feel safe to make mistakes. I believe successful execution lies in ruthless prioritisation and the most effective leaders communicate in plain language. I love what I do. I think there has never been a more exciting time for the energy and mobility sector and consider myself privileged to be working in an industry that is going through a once in a century transition.
