About Liam Brown

With strengths in people leadership and operational excellence, I build organisations that are capable, resilient and adaptable to change. I also embed effective governance mechanisms that maximises transparency and financial performance. Honed by many years of experience in leadership and performance turnaround, I lead with one guiding principle that everything rests on how you lead your people and set your business culture. My mission is to ensure everyone comes to work each day with a purpose and leaves work each day with a sense of achievement. By building and embedding positive values, I create safe psychological workspaces that inspire and enable people to perform at their highest level. Leveraging the learnings of an extensive career in leadership, an MBA and a psychology degree, I use an understanding of behaviour to build support for, and deliver, transformational change. Breaking down organisational silos while establishing clear direction and carefully tailored performance management frameworks, I create pathways to success and bring teams together to achieve strategic objectives. Underpinning all of this is a broad and varied career that has exposed me to many challenges across the sales and operational value chain, across sectors. Harnessing an innate ability to distil complexity, I quickly identify underlying issues and establish the structures critical to uplifting performance. From supply chain challenges to issues presented by legacy IT systems, my philosophy has always been the same – the actual challenge is rarely the ‘widget’ or the process, the success of your strategy always comes back to culture and your people.
