He began his career at CIBC Wood Gundy. Shortly thereafter, he became a Investment Advisor at Richardson Partners Financial. While on a full athletic scholarship, Liam received his Bachelor of Arts in 2003 from the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. He is a two-time National Jr. Champion in Track and Field, and represented Canada at the World Jr. Championships and Pan Am Jr. Games (bronze).
