About Liam Cavanaugh

I am pursuing a degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management in the School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management. I chose this industry with the hopes to learn more about the event operations aspect of this industry. Through my work experiences, I have heard feedback that I am someone who is easy to talk to and is very open to listening to people. As this is a field that requires a lot of customer face to face conversations, learning from industry professionals and what makes their jobs great is what I am most excited for! My goals moving forward with my career are to learn the "ins-and-outs" of the event operations industry and how I can contribute to growing this fast-paced industry. As an athlete, learning the event leadership side and seeing how everything is put into place and what needs to be completed opens up a new mindset for me moving forward. This allows me to have a better understanding of the hard work and time it takes to have a successful event! Moving forward, I am excited to help Victory Event Series move in the right direction and continue to grow our business even farther!
