I have spent the past year studying to complete my Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship while also working full time at PSL Rheotek, a UKAS Accredited laboratory that specialises in measuring the viscosity of petroleum products and polymers. While working in the Laboratory I have learnt many skills such as how to run and test samples while following ISO 17025, accredited by UKAS, as well as learning how to service and use our automated viscosity systems. I also work part-time as a swimming instructor at Reef Swimming School. As an instructor, I have excellent communication skills and am well organised, having to plan lessons and take responsibility for the health and safety of my students. In 2017, I gained the Duke of Edinburgh (DoE) Bronze award and completed the Silver level in 2021. I am currently in the process of completing my Gold Duke of Edinburgh that I hope to gain by the end of the year. I have also participated in National Citizen Service (NCS) and have been an air cadet. I have a full, clean driving license.
