Since acquiring Bright Promotions in 2006, I have established it as a market leader in branded merchandise and corporate gifting, later overseeing its successful sale, integrating it and a sister-company, Trend House, into a new organisation while continuing as General Manager of both. My expertise spans business development, commercial planning, and operational leadership, with a strong track record in financial control, supplier sourcing, tendering, and strategic sales growth. I have steered the business through challenging conditions, such as economic downturns, Brexit, and COVID-19, introducing smart cost controls, software upgrades, and tendering strategies to maintain a competitive edge, create the conditions for growth, and promote a swift recovery. Previously, I worked with Glanbia, acquiring multinational experience in product development, market expansion, and B2B sales, partnering with stakeholders and clients in Asia and North America. I hold Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Agriculture (Food Science) from University College Dublin, and have consistently upskilled, formally and informally, in areas related to my field, including financial management, social media, and SEO to stay ahead in fast-moving business environments. A former elite triathlete and Ironman competitor, I have leveraged my sporting background to expand Bright Promotions' footprint in mass participation sporting events, supplying branded merchandise to some of Ireland’s biggest races, triathlons, and cycling events.
