About Liam Flannery

I am passionate about health, environment, Aviation, and politics. Some experiences I have include; working in aviation, being a campaign manager for a city council candidate, doing an internship for two State Representatives in Columbus, Ohio, going through Boy Scouts, and working at a golf course in the pro shop/outside/concession areas. During my internship experience at the State House, I played a part in helping a newly elected Representative get his office up, running, and organized. I also played a role in research and outreach to constituents. Through my time in Boy Scouts, I developed many skills such as leadership and teamwork. I held many leadership positions within the organization, and most of our activities involved teamwork. I also had to create and carry out a project to earn Eagle Scout. For this project, I planned and implemented a landscaping project in front of the library at Cincinnati Christian University. This thorough process taught me how to handle many moving parts at the same time and organize them in a way that brought the project to completion. Similarly, I was one of five student interns at Xavier where we planned and saw through the new student orientation program called Manresa. Here we planned every aspect of a week-long program that included training 200 student leaders and familiarizing about new students with Xavier University.
