About Liam Kane

As a student in business, I believe that it is imperative that connections with others in the business industry are created. I am hoping that I can make and strengthen some of these connections for the future. I am looking to make connections with anyone in business and more specifically Accounting.I am a Freshman currently studying at Central Michigan University with hopes to major in Accounting. I was a DECA competitor and state finalist in marketing management in high school. I also believe I am a leader as I was on my school’s student council my senior year.As a child I was always around bookkeeping and taxes, as my mother owns and operates a business. It was the reason for my interest in Accounting and the cause for me choosing to study it. I am hoping to someday earn my CPA and be a certified public accountant.I am currently looking for some shadowing work as I do not yet have a degree in Accounting. However, I would love to work at an accounting firm prior to receiving my bachelor’s degree so that I can build experience prior to joining the workforce fulltime. If you are looking for someone to do any kind of firm work, I would happily interview for any position.
