I’ve spent my career building and maintaining the core software systems that keep products running at scale. I began in systems administration, keeping critical infrastructure stable for internet providers — an experience that grounded me in the fundamentals of reliability and operational thinking. I moved into SRE roles in the video game industry, where I focused on performance, uptime, and resilience for systems under unpredictable, high-intensity load. It was during that time that I shifted my focus toward large-scale distributed data systems — drawn to the challenge of building platforms that could not only handle data at scale, but empower teams across engineering and analytics. Today, as a Senior Software Engineer, I focus on the foundations: distributed compute, data pipelines, cloud-native infrastructure, and making complex systems reliable, scalable, and transparent. Whether it’s Spark jobs, evolving data platform architecture, or improving observability, I aim to build systems others can trust — and build on.
