About Liam McCarthy

I am currently a Field Service Engineer 3 for Lam Research. My duties consists of providing expertise support and service to our customer, by diagnosing, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing variety of complex issues that arise within Lam’s semiconductor equipment. I am still fairly new with Lam and in the semiconductor industry overall, but have enjoyed my time so far and the different challenges that arise everyday. I am eager to continue to learn, grow, and develop in my current role and help bring positive changes, whenever possible. In my prior work experience, I have worked on robotics automation equipment, arcade games equipment, automatic bowling pinsetter equipment, and a variety of other mechanical/technical equipment. Moreover, I have experience in management, overseeing operations of a business, leading teams, customer service relations, vendor relations, and other administrative duties.I bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, team mindset, humility, and commitment to make a positive impact. In addition, I am dependable, self-motivated, and strives to keep improving everyday, gaining new knowledge, leading by example, and refining my skills.
