About Liam McFadden

I am an experienced commercial executive, bid-team manager and strategic business and procurement specialist. I have 30 years comprehensive experience directing and managing complex bid/tender projects and developing private and public sector projects including models for Board/Government approvals and/or funding. I bring extensive financial, commercial, contractual, and business stakeholder and relationship management knowledge and experience on project and business activities involving public and private sector transactions. I have a Master of Business Degree and am a Graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. I am also accredited by Tony Lendrum in 0 to 10 Relationship Management® a framework of tools and processes that delivers higher performing customer/supplier contractual relationships. I am proficient with >Microsoft Office,>CRM’s,>Accounting systems, stakeholder and business relationship management. In between work engagements, I am also an enthusiastic advocate of change within the family care sector to empower families and local communities to be more active in caring for their own and other children, elderly and family members with a disability in accordance with the age old principle that 'it takes a village.' There is a major skills shortage of child carers, elder carers and disability carers in Australia. in my role with Clann I have helped create a platform and programs to offer national and international people interested in a Care career in Australia. They will be properly inducted to set up and operate a small family care business on the platform, register for Certificate qualifications (with low interest loans to pay course fees if needed), earn an income and gain work experience while they study, and then for those that perform well, be placed into a permanent position with one of Clann's affiliated Government approved services.
